LatitudeLearning is excited to have the
International Society of Arboriculture
as a longtime client. Eduardo Aliskevich, Director of Educational Products and Services, was ready to learn their learning management system (LMS) from LatitudeLearning after
onboarding
with their team a year ago.
The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) is a
non-profit
that drives awareness of the benefits from trees. Additionally, they concentrate on research and analyzing results to contribute to a world with healthier trees, sustainable communities, and a
green economy
. Members and non-members of ISA turn to them as a central source and leader in
arboricultural
information and knowledge.
“With LatitudeLearning, we’re able to reach a different and much wider audience,” Eduardo explained. “We’re also able to provide online courses, which prepares our members and non-members to become a
certified arborist
and is something we’re very proud of offering.”
The online courses have proven to be successful because they offer a lot of education, flexibility, resources and preparation prior to taking the certification exam. Furthermore, they do have print resources and guides available for their students to use. These courses help their members, and non-members, to become thoroughly educated and instill confident for when they’re ready to take their arborist certification exam.
With almost 25,000 members worldwide, a central learning management system was important to have in place for ISA, especially with offering the arborist certification training. As the International Society of Arboriculture grows their member base, LatitudeLearning is anxious to continue helping them with their learning management system needs and achieving their mission statement.
About
International Society of Arboriculture
Through research, technology, and education, the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) promotes the professional practice of arboriculture and fosters a greater worldwide awareness of the benefits of trees and has been doing so since its inception in 1924.
ISA exists so that professionals, allied professionals, public officials, and consumers worldwide recognize the economic, environmental, and societal benefits and values of trees and their care at a cost that demonstrates the wise stewardship of resources. We are registered in the State of Illinois as a 501c (5) nonprofit organization.
