Majors organize courses by category, making it easy for students to search courses by subject, role, or training objective. There is no limit to the number of majors that can be created. If you have multiple majors, use  the Ordinal field to sort the list.

In the example below, Electricity Safety has a lower ordinal (1) than OSHA Safety (4) – so it displays higher in the list of majors.

Students use majors to filter their Course Catalog and Training Calendar results to only the courses that match their interests.
