The Latitude Support Team announces the latest release of the Latitude Learning LMS. This release Version (3.0.0. 71631) was promoted to production on Sunday, September 25, 2016.
RESOLVED ISSUES
Enroll Others: Corrected a situation in which the Enrollment Eligibility check page was preventing enrollment of selected users into an offering due to enrollment conflicts held by unselected users. The LMS was prompting the user with the “Do you wish to cancel the student from the other offering?” message, even though the user with conflicts was not being selected for enrollment at the time. The resolution does not remove the conflict text; it sets the default answer to “No” so that no manual intervention is required unless the administrator or instructor wishes to enroll the student with conflicts.
Reports:
• Fixed Evidence of Competency by Course Report to show only the transcript records for the currently selected language translation of the organization. This corrects a situation in which duplicate entries were being shown for same transcript in other translations.
• Corrected a customer-reported issue in report data visibility. Previously, a manager several levels higher in the position hierarchy could view the various subordinate levels of employee training history online. However, the same information was not available when running the Completed Training History by Location report. The report now shows the same information that is available online.
Search Users: Fixed an issue in the Search Users picker that was generating an error when searching by username, first name, and/or last name and pressing [ENTER] instead of clicking Submit to initiate the search. This issue only occurred in the Firefox browser.
Course Topics/Taxonomy:
• Corrected an issue in the Search Topic function causing an Edit Failed message during any attempt to modify the record.
User Profile Effective and End Dates:
• Added an error message to indicate the entry of invalid data in the Profile Organization Effective Date and End Date fields. This replaces the generic message “An error has occurred. Please contact your training administrator". It will now show (Effective [End] Date must be a valid date) next to the field with the invalid data.
• Corrected system behavior when adding/removing a profile end date so that it reliably cascades the end date to all active positions and roles assigned to the profile.
User Self-Registration: On the User Self-Registration page, we expanded the standard Username field length from 25 characters to 100 characters, helping to ensure consistency of Username field length across all areas of the application.
CUSTOM CONFIGURATION / ENHANCEMENTS – LIMITED RELEASE
• Configuration for a newly developed First Access Page functionality was modified to confirm user email address.
• Configuration options supporting (HTTPS) secure launch of eLearning content were enhanced as part of this release.
