LatitudeLearning Tools
LatitudeLearning has made it easy to set up your training environment to monetize your courses with eCommerce options. eCommerce can take on two different forms in LatitudeLearning:
Direct Billing
- Direct billing can be turned on for clients that want students to agree to be billed for courses that have a tuition fee. Direct billing is a LatitudeLearning option and if it is selected students will pay for a course that has tuition by being billed from the parent company. LMS Administrators can run the Course Payment by Direct Bill Report to determine which students have agreed to pay by direct bill - so you can ensure payments are made to your billing department.
Credit Card (via PayPal)
- Payment by Credit Card can be turned on for clients that want students to pay for courses that have tuition with a credit card or with their PayPal account. LMS Administrators can run the Course Payment by Credit Card Report to determine which students have used a credit card or PayPal to make payments for courses, ensuring that payments are made for eCommerce courses.
With
Direct Billing
, two options are available:
Payment by Coupon Code
can be used for any organization that has Direct Billing turned on. This feature allows LMS Administrators to use the Add Discounts page to generate a set of coupons that can be passed on to students before they enroll in a course that has tuition turned on.
Payment by Purchase Order / Reference Number
is a way students can add a Purchase Order (PO) value that will be tracked with the billing agreement. When the LMS Administrator runs the Course Payment by Direct Bill report, the Purchase Order or Reference Number will be listed beside the billing information.
eCommerce payment methods can be set at the company level with a location-level override. With this feature, LMS Administrators can set the company default as Direct Billing and/or Credit Card (via PayPal). Locations can be set to operate with a different set of payment methods. In this way, the features of eCommerce can be adapted to each location’s training and billing needs.
