Searching the Course Catalog just got a whole lot easier for your users.  We've added a Browse by Course Category widget that appears in the left navigation bar under the standard left-hand navigation links.  The Browse by Course Category widget allows users to explore the Course Catalog by clicking a taxonomy of course categories.

When a user clicks on a course category, the courses in that category are listed on the Course Search Results page.  After clicking on the desired course category, users can refine their search using keywords, publishers, delivery methods, etc. by expanding the Search criteria at the top of the page.

While every LMS can have its own course category taxonomy, setting up the taxonomy is currently a task that we have to do for you.  But don't worry, the R&D team is busy in the Latitude Lab creating the pages needed to allow you to set up your course categories without our assistance.
