Long has an extensive career in technology project management and has earned the Master Certified Novell Engineer (MCNE) designation from Novell and the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute. Long was honored with the Woman of the Year award from NAPW based on her commitment to mentoring young women entering their professional lives and supporting and organizing food gathering events to alleviate childhood hunger.
