LatitudeLearning is proud to release the My Learning page, rounding out the student experience in our new LMS interface. My Learning
provides users a dashboard view of their LMS profile, activity summaries, and personalized learning channels.
This enhancement comes paired with a new Site Management tool called Edit My Learning Page. Portal Administrators can control which components display in this user dashboard, and in what order. Hiding the learning channels that don't support your training workflows is a great way to make the page more intuitive for learners.
From the LMS header, click the Administration icon.
Use the left hand menu to open the Site Management > Edit My Learning Page. Use drag-and-drop technology to manage the visibility of each feature described below. All features are displayed by default. Changes made on this page will affect all users, and it is not currently possible to customize the My Learning page for specific roles or individuals.
1. Sidebar Components
The left sidebar hosts the summary components that offer users a snapshot of their training achievements, goal assignments, and a link to the legacy Account page for edits.
- My Profile displays user account information: User Image, Name, Email, Location and Position of logged-in profile, plus an Edit User Profile button.
- My Training History counts the total number of user transcripts by type: Courses, Credits, Certifications. Section header links to user’s Training History page for transcript details.
- My Goals are summarized in a color-coded progress bar, grouping "Assigned" goals by due date: Past Due, Due Soon, No Due Date. The list of corresponding assignments display below, with links to Course and Certification Details. Click the section header to open the My Goals page.
Click and drag a component from the "Displayed Sidebar Components" column to the "Hidden Sidebar Components" column as desired.
2. HTML Content
Horizontal content block will display HTML file defined in Site Management > LMS Information > LMS Branding > My Learning Content. This new field was added to our standard Organization Branding control, so that content can be tailored accordingly.
Click Change HTML Content to open the LMS Information page, where you can select a different content file. Or select the Hide option to remove it from your My Learning dashboard.
3. Learning Channels
Training content is organized by Learning Channel, where course lists are presented in Tile View with section headers and action buttons. Each channel header provides the corresponding page name with link to the source content.
By default, all "Displayed Learning Channels" are listed in order below. Drag and drop the features you do not use into the "Hidden Learning Channels" column, or simply reorder the list to highlight the most important content.
