KMWorld magazine recognizes Latitude’s LMS and channel optimization framework as innovative knowledge management solution
SALINE, Mich. – October 23, 2006 – Demonstrating its ability to help large Fortune 500 enterprise organizations track, manage and subsequently improve performance of their channel partners, Latitude CG has been named a finalist for the KMWorld Promise Award. The KMWorld Promise award, presented by KMWorld magazine, recognizes companies that provide customers with innovative technology solutions for implementing and integrating knowledge management practices into their business processes.
Latitude achieved finalist recognition for the award based in part on solutions developed for the Chrysler Group. Latitude's Ready Solutions learning management system (LMS) and Dealer Scorecard data management solution are helping the Chrysler Group to track, manage, and positively impact the performance of Chrysler, Jeep® and Dodge dealerships in the U.S. and Canada.
This combination of knowledge transfer and performance tracking solutions assists the Chrysler Group in assessing dealer progress toward key performance metrics and targets specific development opportunities. The framework provided by Ready Solutions and the Dealer Scorecard allows the Chrysler Group and dealership staff to make educated training and other operational decisions that impact specific business results.
“Being named a finalist for this award underscores Latitude’s ability to help large organizations manage channel partners effectively,” said Jeff Walter, President and CEO of Latitude CG, “Latitude’s knowledge transfer, business intelligence and data management solutions comprise a framework that provides unprecedented clarity for organizations in measuring the performance of their channel partners, and a greater degree of control in improving partner performance.”
The KMWorld Promise award recognizes Latitude’s channel optimization framework for allowing companies to manage distributed learning and certification programs, and gauge how this knowledge, in addition to other measurable factors, impacts the performance of the organization's channel partners.
“With the help of Latitude solutions, the Chrysler Group is able to extend learning and certification courses to dealers, gauge dealer performance and identify critical factors that impact overall dealership performance,” said Patrick Kittle, Director of DaimlerChrysler Academy.
Award winners will be announced at the KMWorld & Intranets conference on Oct. 31, 2006.
