LatitudeCG announces a new release of the LatitudeLearning LMS. Version 3.0.0.83610 was promoted to production on Sunday, November 10, 2019.
enhancements
Course Image Defaults: As part of our effort to move toward tile-based display options for course-related pages, we have introduced the ability to set your own default course images for each delivery method. These replace the default black and white icons originally representing each delivery method. This enhancement includes an initial library of default images provided by LatitudeLearning. Using Site Management > Edit Images > Course Images, portal administrators may upload alternate images and choose their own defaults. They can also revert to the original icons, if desired, by choosing <None> from the default selection list for each delivery type. Follow this link for additional information about Managing Course Images.
Course Tile View: We are pleased to introduce new, responsive versions of the Featured Courses and Courses to Complete pages, making them the first to employ our new tile-based course display, including course images. Users can toggle between a List View (in the format used on the original Courses to Complete) or Tile View, in which courses are shown as "tiles" with expandable details that provide quick, same page access to course information, component course lists, user enrollment status, associated resources, and appropriate action buttons. Follow this link to learn more about Course Tile Views.
Resolved Issues
Assessments: Updated sort logic to honor the specified sort order prescribed by the test author in cases where there is no randomization of questions or objectives. This requires enablement of "Sort by Questions" option on the test settings.
Courses to Complete: Made these updates related to the Courses to Complete (CTC) page
- Corrected several issues reported with the behavior of tuition-based courses when launched from CTC. This includes an issue in which tuition-based self-study courses were not prompting for payment when launched from CTC as part of a goal or as a course group component (The latter also affected Featured Courses and has been fixed.)
- Fixed an issue in which users with the Administrator role were no longer able to expand course details.
- For Course Groups, corrected the display of action buttons related to component courses with future enrollment open dates. Also updated the component status display to note "Not Enrolled" instead of "None". Also updated to properly refresh the course status and visibility after launching and completing component courses, in addition to completing the overall Course Group.
