enhancements
My Learning Page: We are pleased to announce the release of the My Learning Page, a new feature which rounds out the student/manager interface (UI) enhancements we have been implementing for over a year. This page provides students a dashboard with at-a-glance information about their account, their learning progress, and their learning requirements and opportunities. Information is personalized in content blocks called Learning Channels, such as Courses to Complete, Featured Courses, and Recently Added. A sidebar displays graphic summary components such as Training History, Goals Progress, and a link to the user's Account Information. Portal Administrators can configure the My Learning Page at the portal level using a new Site Management menu item, Edit My Learning Page, determining which channels to display, in which order, and whether a channel is required or optional. An HTML content block is configurable and available in our organizational branding controls for further tailoring. Individual users can personalize their My Learning Page by toggling optional channels on or off. Follow these links to learn more about My Learning Page and the Edit My Learning Page options.
IMPORTANT: Portal administrators should note that the My Learning Page icon is now visible by default on the Navigation page. Use Site Management > Edit Navigation Page to manage its visibility.
Course Search: For course groups displayed in a search results list, expanding the group details now displays all component courses, regardless of a user's status in completing them.
Resolved Issues
Course Cancellation: Restored the Course Cancellation success banner message to confirm cancellations made on the student-facing Courses to Complete and Skills pages and the manager-facing My Team - People and My Team - Skills pages.
Course Search: Made these updates to the new Course Search page.
- Corrected issue in which classroom course enrollments pending approval failed to display the Cancel button.
- Ensured the previous keyword search phrase is cleared from the URL for the next search.
- Fixed inconsistent display of action buttons (text- vs icon-based) when interest is added for a classroom course.
- For Course Groups, we corrected a "User is Not Authorized to view this course" warning that appeared when selecting component course links.
- Removed an extra Close button found outside of the enrollment confirmation popup after a user successfully enrolls in a classroom offering.
Legacy Course Details: Fixed the situation in which an Assessment course with a combination of tuition, multiple test attempts allowed, and multiple course enrollments allowed, still displayed the Purchase button after purchasing the course. It now displays only after completing the course or upon reaching the maximum allowed test attempts.
What's New: Added space between the header and HTML content to correct for recent changes that removed the What's New title from the page.
