Latitude CG® announces a new release of the LatitudeLearning® LMS. Version 3.0.0.94869 was promoted to production on Tuesday evening, September 5, 2023.
Enhancements
PayPal API: Made updates to ensure that PayPal payments will work with clients who use a custom URL to access the LMS.
Resolved Issues
Approvals: Fixed a situation in which approving a classroom course that requires tuition and has any sort of enrollment conflict was indicating the tuition was paid successfully, but the approval was never saved.
Classroom Offerings: We tweaked the Offering visibility changes made in the previous production post because allowing users to filter by the training org was forcing restrictions and limiting visibility of available offerings. With this fix it will display all offerings to all users that are in the Business Units (BU)assigned to the course, regardless of Facility > Locale > BU relationship when using the filter "Offered". If a user selects 'Locale' they will be limited to offerings at facilities available in their training Locale.
Course/Offering Slide-in: Updated Enrollment Conflict Checking to skip the check if a Scheduled transcript already exists.
Reporting: Made the following updates-
- Fixed issues in Report Writer reports using Standard Filters for Position, Position Group, or User Group. This applies to just the Accreditation entity and all comparisons in those filters except "Active Member of" and "Was", which will be fixed in a subsequent post.
- Corrected situation in which Course, Course Summary, Accreditation, and Accreditation Summary entities errored out when Standard Filter = Directly Report To (Active) or Reports Up To (Active).
Subscriptions: Fixed an issue on the Course slide-in where the conflict checking process was overcounting credits needed to take a course and displayed the conflict when it shouldn't have.
Users: Updated the logic for User Inactivity Deactivation based on the setting Maximum Allowed Days Since Last Login. Criteria for a user to be deactivated due to inactivity are-
- No recorded logins during the time period indicated by “Maximum Allowed Days Since Last Login”
- No course launches during the time period indicated by “Maximum Allowed Days Since Last Login”
- No user profile re-activation within the portal during the time period indicated by “Maximum Allowed Days Since Last Login”. This means if a portal administrator does reactivate a user, they are no long required to log in immediately after. The Maximum allowed Days begins to count down again.
Important Notice
The LatitudeLearning® LMS will be down for a scheduled system upgrade on Saturday, September 9th, 2023 from 9:00am to approximately 1:00 pm EDT. During this time the LMS will not be available for user login or training. This maintenance window is only for our SaaS product and will not affect customers who are hosting a standalone LMS instance. Thank you in advance for your patience during this process.
