The LatitudeLearning Team is pleased to announce the rollout of enhanced subscription management functionality on the LatitudeLearning LMS.  This add-on capability extends existing blended learning support in the LMS by providing a set of tools to easily manage subscription programs, courses and program assignments for both corporate and client locations.  In addition to new administrative tools, this set of enhancements also updates the student's home page, providing them with dynamic, at-a-glance access to subscription courses that are now available.

This enhancement bundle includes the following key areas of functionality:

Create and manage subscription programs directly through the user interface - Administrators can now access tools under the Course Support menu option, allowing them to add (and manage) new subscription programs.  This includes defining start and end dates for the given programs, and provides users the ability to search for subscription programs by code or name.

Create and manage courses with subscription-specific course delivery types - Administrators can now add new e-learning titles to the course catalog and tie them directly to one of the available subscription programs during the Add Course process. 

Manage subscription assignments by location (organization) - Admininstrators can assign zero-to-many subscriptions to a given location-organization (i.e. client, dealer, branch, or guest location) in the LMS.  This includes the ability to define effective dates for the subscription period.  Once a subscription is assigned and becomes effective for a given location, student-users will have at-a-glance access to available subscription titles under the 'Available Subscription Courses' area of their home page.  And from there, students can click to launch any desired e-learning titles.

This functionality is already being used by client-administrators to help manage their multi-client LMS portals.  As an example, one client uses this new capability to offer a collection of free e-learning titles to guest users who have self-registered into a Guest Location, while at the same time offering each of its paid customers their own tailored set of subscriptions and related courses.
