We are excited to announce two enhancements released to the LatitudeLearning LMS on April 14, 2019.
Training History
Click the updated Training History icon on your LMS Navigation page to access a new Training History page on the Angular platform. This page was designed to highlight a learner's Completed transcript information by landing on a tab that displays the combined list of all their completed Course, Certification, and Curriculum transcripts. From there, users can download Certificates of Completion with a click of the button in "Actions" column.
For a comprehensive list of transcripts in various statuses, the new page also provides quick filter tabs to view All Courses and All Certifications. Sort any of these lists by clicking a column heading. To view detailed audit information or transcript attachments, as indicated by an Attachment icon, click the Type icon next to each course or certification.
User Groups and Profiles
We enhanced the User Group feature to make intuitive that it is, and has always been, a profile-based assignment, not tied to a user's account record in any way. By adding a new component to the user Profile tab and eliminating the "User Group" tab from the Account record, administrators can now add a user to a group at any of their organizations, instead of just their Primary Location profile. The User Group component works in the same manner used to apply positions and roles to a particular profile.
We also added a new configuration setting to Site Management > LMS Information page to govern User Group membership behavior if the user moves between organizations in the LMS. Portal administrators can use the Inactive Profile Groups setting to move user group membership with the user to the new organization or be cancelled with the change. Note that when "Move" is selected and a profile is inactivated, there is a potential lag time of several minutes for the user group to appear in the new profile while the system performs several checks and validations in the background.
