Hello from Latitude R&D! This is Brooke Oprsal with a monthly update on some of our activities regarding the LatitudeLearning LMS product.
Recent Product Enhancement - Minor Enhancements
The latest release included some minor enhancements to improve security, and usability in the system.
The first enhancement was to remove the password from the LMS verification email that is sent when a person signs up for a free LMS. The user is now sent their username, without the password in the email, to improve security.
Another enhancement was made to enable the branding flag on the LMS Information page, to give the administrator the ability to turn branding on or off for their portal.
Upcoming Releases
In the next release, there will be more minor enhancements made to the system such as:
- All of the available icons from the navigation page will be able to be chosen for both the landing page and home page.
- The filter criteria for Username Search will be changed to a type-ahead “User” search that will include the first name, last name and username in the search capability.
- There will be many other little tweaks to styling and improved usability.
The next major release will be towards the end of the second quarter; report scheduling. Reports will be able to be scheduled to run daily, weekly, monthly or on demand.
