Hello from Latitude R&D! This is Brooke Oprsal with a monthly update on some of our activities regarding LatitudeLearning.
Recent Product Enhancement - New Student and Manager Workflow
We started the New Year by rolling out a brand New Student/Manager Workflow. You’ll find a much simpler, cleaner look to the user interface, when accessing pages from the navigation icon. The purpose of this enhancement was to make the Student & Manager experience much more user friendly, and less complex. You will find the left navigation bar has been removed, the titles are bigger, and the page descriptions have been removed. See examples, below.
The legacy pages are still available, when navigating from the legacy home page. Administrators will be able to access the legacy left-hand navigation, through the gear-shift icon in the header.
Lastly, in this release, admins now have the ability to change their home page to be the new navigation page, legacy home, What’s New Page, or Courses to Complete pages.
Upcoming Releases
In the next release an updated version of the Courses to Complete page will be rolled out. This will include changes to the stylesheet to be more consistent with the newly rolled out pages, and minor tweaks to functionality, to continue to improve usability.
Following the next release, will be the roll out of the Navigation Editor, which allows the Administrator to re-order and hide/show the icons on the Navigation page, using drag and drop technology from one column to another. The default will be to show all icons.
The next release will include updates to the Reporting Engine page, including a more unified header.
