LatitudeCG announces a new release of the LatitudeLearning LMS. Version 3.0.0.76751 was promoted to production on Sunday, April 29, 2018.
ENHANCEMENTS
We are pleased to announce the following enhancements to the LatitudeLearning LMS experience.
Announcements: This feature is now available to any user with subordinates in the LMS (established through position-based or person-to-person reporting hierarchies and visible from the Employee tab or My People page) We've added a new Announcements icon on the Navigation page. Portal Administrators will be able to display or hide this feature using Site Management > Edit Navigation Page. The feature will work in the same manner as Announcements do from the Administrator menu, but target audiences will be limited to those users the manager has the right to see based on their profiles and reporting relationships.
Certificate of Completion Branding: We added a new branding option allowing Portal Administrators to add a custom logo from the image library to their certificates of completion. Use the Certificate Logo field on the Site Management > LMS Information page to select a logo for all users or on the Organization Branding page to customize certificate logos by organization.
Course Groups - Component Courses: Added action buttons to the component courses to provide users the ability to take direct action from the list rather than drilling down to the course details for actions including, as appropriate, Launch, Cancel, Add to Calendar, Mark Complete, View Details, and View Offering.
New Home Page Options: We have updated the LMS Information page options for setting the default Home page. Now all functions represented by icons on the Navigation page are available for selection. Users who do not have access to the Home page selected by their portal administrator will be returned to the Navigation page.
New Login Landing Page Options: We have updated the LMS Information page options for setting the default Login Landing Page. Now all functions represented by icons available on the Navigation page are available for selection. Users who do not have access to the Landing page selected by their portal administrator will be returned to the Navigation page.
Reporting: Added a new Advanced Filter option to the Report Writer for selecting User Position [is/isn't] Primary. Also, improved the load time of Standard Filters when executing reports and displaying report results.
Resources: Added an Open Resource button on the Resource Details page next to the Link for the document or URL.
Training Providers: Added the ability to enable/disable the Training Provider feature from the LMS Information page. Training Providers are added and maintained under the Course Support menu. They are primarily an informational reference on courses and instructor profiles.
User Self-Registration - Requires Approval Setting: Portal Administrators now have the ability to toggle the User Registration Requires Approval feature on/off under Site Management > LMS Information. They must still contact Latitude ClientCare to enable the User Self-Registration feature.
RESOLVED ISSUES
Announcements: Fixed issue in which the fixed selection criterion User Account = Active was not being enforced from the Preview User list.
Enroll Others - Batch Enroll: Fixed issue in which the Batch Enrollment process was not enforcing User Profile = Primary if instances when the user users "Back to Filter" from the Preview Users page.
Enrollments: Corrected an issue in which a portal administrator was unable to enroll a student under impersonation when trying to use a discount code.
Header - Mobile: Improved mobile display of the user profile drop-down list, accessed in the mobile header, which was requiring extensive scrolling on some mobile devices.
Login Behavior: Corrected an issue in which users with no default profile get an error message when the Login Landing Page is set to some of the new User Interface pages. They will now get a pop-up to select the desired profile for activation.
Position Group Branding: For position group branding What's New content drop-down list, we removed the prefix "pages/" from custom HTML pages listed in the drop-down selection.
Reporting: Fixed several minor issues with reporting including the ability to use Transcript Status [blank] = All and ensuring that clicking the Home icon or Header logo redirects to the correct LMS setting.
