New Portal Generation – Auto-Populate From/Reply-To Email Address for New Portals: The team is pleased to announce a targeted enhancement to our portal generation process (for new free and contracted LMS portals), which references the email address of the portal requestor, and applies it as the From and Reply-To email address for the new portal, replacing the default Support@LatitudeLearning.com address. One more step to make it ‘Your LMS’.
RESOLVED ISSUES:
Add / Edit Organization – Issue when using special characters: This update addresses a reported issue where user impersonation (and certain other functionality) was being impacted for organizations where certain special characters (e.g. #) were incorporated into the organization code. With this update, the page now validates and restricts the entry of #, &, < or > as part of any organization code in the system.
Course Enrollment – Recently Launched Courses Area: This update addresses a reported issue Launch button was displayed in the Recently Launched Courses area for a Subscription course where non-subscribers required manager approval. The course was showing up correctly in the Self-Studies area. This was fixed by removing the launch button for any course pending manager approval in the Recently Launched Courses bucket.
Subscription Credits Audit Report – Unable to select Output as expected: This update addresses a reported issue where a report was not presenting output options and file formats as expected (e.g. XLS or XLSX).
User Search and Selection – Active User Tracking: This issue addresses a reported concern over consistency of how Active User is defined in the system. Previously, if you have an active user account with at least one profile that is inactive, the user could show up on both the active and inactive user list for specific searches. With this update, the LMS will be looking at only the master user record (i.e. account having active date range). If the user is inactive based on date range, it will show up on the inactive list, regardless of the profile end dates.
Organizations – Require Division selection when adding/editing Location: This update addresses a reported issue where Division was not being required when adding or editing a Location-organization in the LMS (i.e. and was only requiring a Locale selection), which was limiting certain searches and oversight of data tied to that Location. With this update, it ensures Location is properly tied into the business structure for ongoing tracking and oversight.
Add Facility – Date Validation: This issue addresses a noted issue with date validation when adding a Facility in the LMS.
Thank you again for your valuable feedback and input into ongoing enhancements to the LMS. For additional information regarding these and other capabilities, please contact the Latitude Learning Support Team at Support@LatitudeLearning.com .
