The Latitude Learning Team announces the latest release of the Latitude Learning LMS. This release Version 2.5.1.67010 was promoted to production on Saturday, March 15, 2015.
Enhancements:
Interests – Add Interest for entire Organization – This update works to enhance existing Interest functionality in the LMS, and moreover provides authorized administrators with a new mass enrollment option (i.e. when generating interests for self-paced courses, or for instructor-led courses having offerings configured to use the system's auto-enrollment services). With this new capability, administrators can now select a given Organization in their LMS organization hierarchy (i.e. a specific Location, Division, Business Unit, or even the entire Company), then select a target course, where an interest will be assigned to all users tied to that organization. Prior to generating the interests, the LMS will notify the administrator of the target number of users, and ask for final confirmation. Once confirmed, the LMS will generate the interest records, placing them into the queue for standard eligibility and conflict checking. In the case of self-paced learning activities (e-Learning, Assessment, Self-Study course types), or instructor-led learning activities (Classroom, Virtual Classroom) with offerings setup for auto-enrollment, this can result in automated enrollment for fully eligible students.
Resolved Issues:
Resources – Not scoping to Business Unit as expected - This update addresses a reported issue where resources were being accessed outside of the Business Unit(s) the Resources was shared to in the LMS.
User Import – User records unexpectedly being updated based on address match in import file – This update addresses a reported issue where certain data tied to user records were being updated unexpectedly during the import process due to a match on address.
Assessments – Issue when Adding Transcript for Assessment course type – This updates addresses a reported issue where the system was resulting in an error condition when attempting to add a manual transcript for an Assessment course type.
Courses – Due Dates and Reminder Days not editable as expected – This update addresses a reported issue where the LMS was not fully submitting changes when attempting to edit/remove previously populated Due Dates or Reminder Days for a given course in the LMS. Instead, after submitting changes, the LMS would retain the previous settings and they would reappear when navigating back to the course details.
Facilities – Alerts Tab not functioning as expected – This update addresses a reported issue where clicking on the Alerts tab was resulting in an error condition (e.g. for facilities labeled as type of ‘Technical’).
