The Latitude Learning Team announces the latest release of the Latitude Learning LMS. This release Version 2.5.1.67465 was promoted to production on Friday, April 17, 2015.
Enhancements:
Offerings - Import Session Attendance File (for Roster Processing) – This update extends general availability of existing import functionality allowing authorized instructors and administrators to import properly formatted files from the iLinc Web Conference and Collaboration toolset. This functionality is activated for any offering where the ‘Link to Classroom’ has been populated with a qualified URL. If a properly formatted file is imported, it can auto-populate key roster information that can be reviewed, modified (if necessary), and submitted along with other roster attendance information for the given offering. At this time, the functionality is designed to work in conjunction with specific export formats, but can be custom-configured by Latitude’s Operational Services team.
Resolved Issues:
Certification Management – Display of Active and Inactive Programs – At the request of our Portal Administrator community, this update works to ensure that inactive programs remain visible in key areas of the application for reference and reuse by authorized administrators. Previous updates to the system resulted in overly restricted visibility of end-dated programs, making management of programs and certifications cumbersome. With these updates in place, authorized administrators (and managers) will have access to view both active and inactive programs where necessary, while student-level users will only see current/active programs and related certifications via Certification tabs and navigation.
Certification Management – Editing Copied Certification Results in Error – This update resolves an issue reported by our administrator community where certifications created using the ‘Copy’ feature would generate an error when edited/submitted.
Interests – Add Interest Resulting in Error when User(s) Selected with no Location-Level Profile – This update resolves an edge-case issue reported by our administrator community where an error was resulting when attempting to add an interest for a target list of users where one or more users did not have a Location-level profile in the system. With this update in place the system only returns/targets users having a relevant Location-level profile in the system.
Organization Management – Unable to Reassign Organizations under other Parent-Organizations as Expected – This update resolves an issue reported by our administrator community where attempts to reassign an existing Division-level organization under a secondary Business Unit-level organization was not resulting in access to all data through the user interface.
Organizations – Edit Organization Resulting in Error – This update resolve a reported issue where attempts to edit organizations with address information populated was resulting in an error upon submission.
Assessments – Unexpected number of questions presenting to participant – This update works to rectify a reported issue where properly configured assessments including a blend of both mandatory and randomly selected questions (i.e. from a broader pool of questions) was not presenting the proper count of questions to the student-user.
Disable Unused Elements: Training Providers and Interest Request – This set of updates works to suppress two legacy elements/areas of functionality, Training Providers (Course Support) and Interest Request (Edit Transcript), which had presented in earlier versions of the application and are no longer supported as part of the hosted LMS.
