The Latitude Learning Team announces the latest release of the Latitude Learning LMS. This release Version 2.5.1.67626 was promoted to production on Sunday, May 31st 2015...
Enhancements:
Reports – In an effort to enhance overall LMS performance and in response to our Portal Administrator community regarding intermittent reporting issues, the Latitude Team has recently completed a targeted expansion of LMS infrastructure and LMS configuration specifically targeting improvements to report generation in the LMS. This update further segregates report processing from other key services, reducing performance impact on those other areas of the LMS. Administrators will note that the standard reports list will now present within its own pop-up window. The expectation is for more responsive report processing and the ability for the system to handle and return larger report results, even in the case of very sizeable ad-hoc reporting requests.
Resolved Issues:
Assessments – Unexpected Number of Questions Presented to Participant – This update works to address an issue noted by internal administrators where the assessment engine was not accurately calculating and presenting the correct number of total mandatory/elective questions out of the defined question pool, based on settings defined by the administrator.
Certification Management – Goals Tab – This update works to address feedback from our Portal Administrator community regarding an issue where users would click to ‘View’ a certification tied to a certain Program (Year), but would not always see that Program reflected in the dropdown after clicking to view the certification and proved confusing when navigating further.
Resources – This update works to an issue noted by our Portal Administrator community, where very long resource names were impacting the ability to download and open Resource files as expected. Functionality was revisited to allow over 128 characters to be accommodated going forward for Resource records in the LMS.
Thank you again for your valuable feedback and input into ongoing enhancements to the LMS. For additional information regarding these and other capabilities, please contact the Latitude Learning Support Team at Support@LatitudeLearning.com.
