ENHANCEMENTS
Messaging Administration Tools - Released to Production: Latitude LMS announces production release of new Messaging Administration toolset available as an LMS add-on capability. Administrators now have the power to edit the dozens of system generated messages that are used to communicate with LMS students, managers and administrators. This new capability gives a great deal of freedom to adminstrators to edit the content of their registration notifications, confirmation email and other routine messages sent on their behalf. An easy to use WYSIWYG style editor will let you craft your messaging to provide consistency with your program messaging and branding. This post includes updates based on feedback and input from our valued beta test customers. Click Here to learn more about this powerful new add-on toolset.
RESOLVED ISSUES
User Search – Partial Name Search Not Working: This update addresses a reported issue where the User Search did not return the anticipated results due to a defect in the partial name search functionality. With this update in place, authorized administrators can utilize partial entries when searching by user name.
Reminder Messages Received for Cancelled Offerings: This update addresses a reported issue where students were receiving automated offering-specific reminder messages after the associated offering had been cancelled. LMS was updated to adjust logic surrounding this process.
Enrolling Students in Offerings at Offering End-Date: This update addresses a reported issue where administrators were not able to enroll students in Offerings after the Offering End Date/Time had past. Administrators frequently need to enroll students after the Offering End-Date/Time in order to process walk-ins or last minute substitutions before finalizing the roster and closing the offering. LMS was updated to adjust the errant logic.
Unable to Update User Password – This updates addresses a reported issue where users could not update their passwords in cases where the portal administrator had updated the Company-Organization Code, i.e., changed the code that was assigned during the standard portal setup process. With this update in place, Administrators can continue to adjust organization names and codes without generating this scenario.
Error Viewing Assessment Results - This update addresses a reported issue where a user was receiving an error message when attempting to view his/her Assessment results after firstcompleting a given assessment in the LMS. The issue was caused by an Administrator leaving a blank distractor in place when authoring a given assessment question (i.e. 4 questions intended but a 5th unused distractor was still tied to the question). Upon assessment completion, the LMS was inserting a NULL value for 5th distractor, which resulted in an error when trying to report results to the end-user. The LMS was updated to ignore these Null distractors.
Thank you again for your valuable feedback and input into ongoing enhancements to the LMS. For additional information regarding these and other capabilities, please contact the Latitude Learning Support Team at Support@LatitudeLearning.com ,.
