The Latitude Learning Team announces the latest release of the Latitude Learning LMS. This release (version 2.5.1.64570 was promoted to production on Sunday, September 29, 2013.

ENHANCEMENTS

Certification Goals Dashboard – Latitude is very pleased to announce the addition of a new Certification Goals Dashboard to the collection of LMS reports that are available to LMS customers having the Certification and Curriculum Add-on configured for their LMS portal. The new Certification Goals Dashboard allows authorized LMS administrators and managers to view the status of goal achievement at the Business Unit, Division and Location levels based on their profile assignments in the LMS.  Functionality allows those responsible for setting and monitoring goals to view summary level achievement data, then drill-down to see underlying details, even a list of the students comprising the higher level statistics.

LMS customers will note that a new the Reports Menu page has been relabeled with a new section for dashboards. The Certification Goals Dashboard is the first of a number of planned dashboards which will be made available to all portal customers, but may be dependant upon specific add-ons enabled/contracted for a given portal. 

To view the new Certification Goals Status dashboard, portal users click on the Certification Goals Status link; then select the certification Program that they would like to analyze; then click on the View Report button to see the results. Once displayed, customers simply click on the “+” icon to drill down to see underlying details supporting summary views.

RESOLVED ISSUES

Portal creation process allowing users to be created and assigned a password of less than 8 characters – This update addresses a reported issue where a customer was able to setup an new portal user with a password that was less than 8 characters (the standard convention in the LMS). This issue has been addressed with this update.
