RESOLVED ISSUES
Confusing Offering Warning Message – This update addresses a reported issue where the message “The End Date must occur on or before the Latest Offering Start Date” is displayed when the course has an Enrollment Close Date that is prior to the date for the offering that is being created. The message has been reworked so that it better explains the conflict so it can be addressed before attempting to add the new offering.
Offering Defaults Not Setting Properly – This update addresses a reported issue where an administrator’s changes to the Offering Defaults were not saved as expected for Classroom-based course. After setting defaults, the administrator navigated to the Offering Defaults table found that the defaults had reverted to the original settings. With this update, defaults are now being retained by the LMS.
Roster Report Label Issue – This update addresses an incorrectly named column label on various Roster reports, where ‘Dlr’ (dealer) was being referenced instead of ‘Loc’ (location); Dlr Code has been replace with Loc Code and republished.
e-Learning Content Delivery Updates – To better support latest browser versions, as well as e-learning content authoring technologies and techniques, updates were made so that content is no longer delivered in IE7 compatibility mode. Also, browser requirements for Java have been removed.
Delay in the display of the Report Menu Page – This update addresses concerns that the Reports menu was taking a longer than acceptable to display. With this update, this functionality has been refactored and now performs much quicker.
Facility Code Character Issue – This update addresses reported issue where an administrator was able to add a Facility with a Facility Code that had more characters than could be supported by the Facility picker that is invoked when setting up an Offering. With the update field sizes have been made compatible.
Instructional Language(s) required during Instructor Setup – This update addresses reported where an administrator able to create an instructor without designating the instructional language(s) for the instructor and then was not able assign the instructor to an offering since instructional language is required to select instructors to teach a course. With this update, instructional language is required when setting up or editing an instructor.
Unable to invoke Impersonation when Username (user identifier) contains an apostrophe – This update addresses a reported issue where an administrator was unable to impersonate a student because the Username contained an apostrophe. With this update the impersonation functionality can now be invoked in these cases.
