SALINE, Mich., July 9, 2015 – Latitude an industry leading in partner performance and the home of the LatitudeCONNECT Suite, sent two of its Connection staff writers to the International Franchise Expo in New York City to cover business practices of franchisors.
Janay Burch and Sonia Gottfried, both Latitude employees, got to interview dozens of representatives from over hundreds of franchises June 18-20, 2015. Burch and Gottfried both agree that the IFE experience went smoothly with no hesitation from interviewees to have a conversation about training and franchising.

The International Franchise Expo, sponsored by the International Franchise Association provided a central location for potential business owners to browse hundreds of franchise opportunities.

Gottfried and Burch got the privilege to meet several seminar speakers. One in particular was Marla Rosner, Senior Training Consultant at MSA Worldwide. Rosner conducted “Training: The DNA of your Franchise System,” which educated attendees on the many effective training programs. The presentation provided an overview of training methods to cover content for different audiences with different needs used in franchising from classroom learning to elearning to field staff.
