12 years of greatness says good-bye

For more than 12 years Iott led and in many other ways that contributed to the success of numerous projects during times of significant change, and he was instrumental in ensuring the success and growth of Latitude. “It’s very gratifying to see as I approach the end of my twelve-year career with Latitude that it is definitely on a steep upward trajectory and the future looks just fantastic. Latitude has come a long, long way over the last 12 years - its people and processes have matured, and it has truly evolved into a no holds barred product company with its highly rated, flag ship Learning Management offering and its rapidly growing PartnerCONNECT customer base,” said Iott.
Over the last year, Iott headed up all aspects of the product delivery and support operations at Latitude. Iott was instrumental in the implementation of key support and resource management systems and in the definition and implementation of re-organization that really strengthened Latitude’s ability to deliver for its customers. As a result of Iott's leadership and the efforts of many, teams have clearer goals and objectives and are empowered to set and meet customer commitments.
“David Iott has made a truly outstanding contribution to the Latitude Consulting Group as well as a remarkable positive imprint on the people here at Latitude. His achievements helped orchestrate Latitude as a leader in partner performance within the learning management system business community which positioned Latitude to reliably provide products and services to our clients,” said Jeff Walter, CEO.

Iott will be missed but he leaves behind many team players he mentored and helped to shape into reliable, dedicated and committed professionals.
"David's vision, energy, and dedication served Latitude well during a particularly challenging period in its history," CEO, Jeff Walter said. "He demonstrated strong leadership and dedicated himself to the success of Latitude”.
Friday Bagels
Iott always said that he felt that as a leader, it was his responsibility to serve those that he managed. A good example of Iott's leadership philosophy would be Friday Bagels which demonstrated to his team that he personally cared about their well-being and appreciated the extra effort that they all put forth … even on a Friday. Iott initiated the Friday Bagels practice shortly after he joined Latitude and when he noticed his team was so focused on project work that they often skipped breakfast, worked through lunch and barely came up for air. Iott could always be counted on to stop on his way into the office for bagels (bagels always pre-sliced to help team productivity) so that everyone could have a small mid-morning break. Bagel Friday certainly became one of his legacies.
