What it means?
Both in 2018 and 2020, all participants surveyed indicated there are many metrics involved in their training program to encourage better performance. Incentivizing trainees, tracking performance, providing a community forum, etc. are all signs that specify a positive performance-based training is used.
What's interesting is in 2020 all participants indicated, at minimum, that they embed training throughout their operational systems and scorecards - up from 50% of all participants in 2018. The training industry is seeing a rise in an organization's desire to embed training into their workforce's daily operations. The data from this survey question supports this trend within the Extended Enterprise learning space.
In order to advance impact, it's essential to integrate, or embed, crucial information at the point of need. This allows for maximum engagement by empowering your team to stay put, instead of forcing them to leave their current applications to log into their training environment (most likely an LMS or learning platform).
