We enhanced the Site Management > LMS Information page to display LMS Information, Subscription, and Configuration options most useful to Portal Administrators. Also updated LMS Training, Edit Transcript, Reports, and other features.

We are happy to announce that we are in the process of developing an LMS Portal Administrator Certification Program. This program will consist of a series of assessments that evaluate a portal administrator’s knowledge in setting up, managing, and troubleshooting a “standard" instance of the Latitude Learning LMS.

Person-to-Person reporting enables Portal Administrators to set up reporting relationships based on Username, rather than Position codes.  With Person-to-Person reporting, a user may have zero, one, or multiple managers, similar to the way many organizations are structured today. These relationships also enable managers to view training, approve course enrollments and set and manage user goals in the same way they can with for Position Code Reporting.

The Latitude LMS now includes a mobile friendly view targeted primarily toward the student user. When a user accesses the LMS from a mobile device, they will see a simplified and easy-to-use interface. Mobile views are available for all portals without any extra configuration required of the Portal Administrator. We have worked to streamline the student interface and navigation to its most essential elements. Users are able to Log in, Search Courses, view Home page, My Details information, and training History.

Updated the Location Administrator Role to include “Courses” in its standard LMS navigation menu, allowing such users to more effectively Search Courses, Search Offerings, and view Training Calendar. Also resolved issues with Search Users, Add Position, and Classroom Offering set up.

The Latitude Learning Team announces two course enrollment enhancements: Restrict by Number of User Enrollments and Minimum Enrollment for Live Education 

Latitude has released Two Factor Authentication (2FA) as a new optional feature in the LMS. 2FA helps supplement the Password Reset process by enabling users to quickly and efficiently restore forgotten access credentials without human intervention.
